Dr. Abraham J. Fura is a physician focused on wellness, recovery, and performance optimization in Southwest Florida. He trained in Anesthesiology at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and completed advanced fellowship training at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where he developed expertise with minimally invasive techniques applicable to restorative wellness, mobility support, and functional recovery.

Born and raised in upstate New York, Dr. Fura graduated summa cum laude from Niagara University with a B.S. in Biology and minors in Chemistry, Commerce, and Social Science. He earned his D.O. from NYCOM in 2010, graduating in the top 3 percent of his class.

From 2006 to 2018, Dr. Fura served as a United States Army officer and reached the rank of Major. He completed internship and anesthesia residency at Walter Reed; later he served as Staff Anesthesiologist and Chief of Obstetrical Anesthesia at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, leading quality improvement initiatives centered on safety, efficiency, and team performance. He is board certified in Anesthesiology.
